Volleyball Game Preview: Mobridge-Pollock Tigers vs. Linton Lions

The Mobridge-Pollock Tigers will face off against the Linton Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Mobridge-Pollock took on Great Plains Lutheran on Saturday. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Panthers 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Linton took care of business in their home opener (and then some) back in September. They put the hurt on Garrison with a sharp 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Linton was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-11, 25-13.

Mobridge-Pollock now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Linton, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
