Basketball Recap: Eatonville Comes Up Short

Eatonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. The game between them and the Orting Cardinals didn't end well, with the Eatonville Cruisers falling 59-42. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cruisers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-65 back in December of 2024.

Eatonville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Orting, with the victory, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-10.

Eatonville will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Foss at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Foss' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Orting, they are taking a road trip to take on Steilacoom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Orting is facing Steilacoom at the right time seeing as Steilacoom is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
