Hillsboro hadn't done well against Ferris recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Everything went the Hillsboro Eagles' way against the Ferris Yellowjackets as the Hillsboro Eagles made off with a 58-32 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Hillsboro's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Charlee Mack led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Mcguire, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 14 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Hillsboro, bringing their record for this year to 20-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Ferris, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-15.

Coincidentally, Hillsboro and Ferris will both be playing Godley the next time they take the court. Ferris will head out to face Godley at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Hillsboro will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on February 4th.
