Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Brayden Robinson and William Stockett-Harter Lead Derry to Victory

There's no place like home for Derry, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They snuck past the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions with a 45-41 win on Tuesday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Golden Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Derry was led to victory by William Stockett-Harter and Brayden Robinson. Stockett-Harter went 6-for-10 to rack up 14 points and eight boards, while Robinson posted 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Robinson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Fridley, who scored five points.

Derry now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Greensburg Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Derry and Belle Vernon will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Leopards have now posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups. Greensburg Salem will take on Ligonier Valley in a holiday battle at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
