After a string of five wins, Frontenac's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Hadley Goodwin paced Frontenac's offense, picking up seven kills. Goodwin got some help from Ellie Bloom and her 14 assists.

Frontenac's defeat dropped their record down to 20-12-1. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-4 record this season.

Frontenac didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against St. Mary's-Colgan on the 11th. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Jayhawk Linn on the 11th.
