After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cass Tech, Renaissance was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They never let the Thurston Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Phoenix have won 14 matches by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Renaissance is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for Thurston, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Renaissance will head out on the road to take on Dearborn at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Thurston, they will face off against Redford Union at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a 28-game losing streak.
