Basketball Recap: Parowan Rams vs. Providence Hall Patriots
The Parowan Rams's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against Providence Hall by a score of 38-25.
Bella Robinson was her usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with five steals. That makes it 21 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Parowan's points.
Providence Hall's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Paige Krebs, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaidence Anderson, who scored five points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Even though they lost, Providence Hall smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Parowan only pulled down seven offensive rebounds.
Parowan's win bumped their record up to 3-18. As for Providence Hall, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.
Parowan will be playing at home against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Providence Hall will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Miners at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Utah (Park City is ranked 126th, while the Patriots are ranked 108th).
