Friendswood won the last time they faced Ball and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs never let the Tornadoes get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 16 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Friendswood's win bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Ball, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-21.

Looking ahead, Friendswood will take on Nederland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mustangs 1.5, the Bulldogs 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. Ball does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
