Emma Skibbie posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
