Basketball Recap: Shelton Takes a Loss

Shelton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 53-26 loss at the hands of the McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-25 last Monday.

Shelton's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for McKinney Christian Academy, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-21.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shelton will square off against Bishop Gorman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Gorman will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Shelton surely won't give up without a fight. McKinney Christian Academy has already played their next contest (against All Saints Episcopal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
