Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

St. Joseph Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the University Christian Christians 3-0 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Flashes sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

St. Joseph Academy was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-23.

St. Joseph Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addy Mira, who had 18 digs. Mira is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Suzi Valbuena, who had 19 assists and five digs.

St. Joseph Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 17 consecutive matchups.
