Liberty Union was handed a ten-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Berne Union Rockets 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 back in April.

Bobby Savage spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Liberty Union's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Farmer, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Liberty Union is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Berne Union, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-6.

As of now, neither Liberty Union nor the Rockets have any future games scheduled.
