Michael Putnam posted a new career-high in receiving yards on Friday. He picked up 99 receiving yards and one touchdown, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Looking ahead, Putnam and North Pole are taking a road trip to challenge Soldotna at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Patriots haven't beaten the Stars recently, having gone 0-10 since August of 2016.
