Basketball Recap: Douglas County Huskies vs. Rock Canyon Jaguars
Douglas County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Rock Canyon Jaguars and fell 61-32. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Jaguars are ranked 22nd).
Douglas County's loss came despite strong showings from Natalie Knight and Addison Fitzgerald. Knight posted 11 points, while Fitzgerald put up ten points and eight rebounds.
Leading Rock Canyon to victory were Brooke Harding and Alyssa Goode. Harding went 10 for 16 en route to 22 points along with seven steals and five boards, while Goode went 6 of 11 on her way to 14 points and five steals.
