Soccer Recap: Shoemaker Takes a Loss

Shoemaker lost against Austin Achieve back in January of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Shoemaker fell just short of Austin Achieve by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Shoemaker have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Kayson Casari, who's now up to four this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Shoemaker and nudges their season record down to 9-9-3. As for Austin Achieve, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-4-1.

Shoemaker has already played their next match, a 6-1 defeat against Horn on the 20th. As for Austin Achieve, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Bandera on the 21st.
