Recap: Dillon Christian Warriors vs. Conway Christian Eagles
The Dillon Christian Warriors's five-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They blew past Conway Christian 65-45. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Dillon Christian has managed all season.
Dillon Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jackson Outlar out in front who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. Thompson Stone was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight steals and seven assists.
Conway Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wyatt Polatty, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Droll, who scored 14 points.
Dillon Christian's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Conway Christian, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Dillon Christian will head out on the road to square off against Lake View at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Lake View is ranked 244th, while Dillon Christian is ranked 227th). As for Conway Christian, they will be playing at home against King's Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
