Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Captain Shreve). Their defense stepped up to hand the Huntington Raiders an 8-0 shutout on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Gators needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Captain Shreve's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Huntington, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Captain Shreve will venture away from home to face off against Calvary Baptist Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Huntington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
