Basketball Game Preview: Temple Christian Eagles vs. Oakridge Owls

After both having extra time off, the Temple Christian Eagles and the Oakridge Owls will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Temple Christian is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Two weeks ago, Temple Christian came up short against Trinity Valley and fell 38-27.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Z Dela Paz, who posted eight points. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. B Esskew was another key player, putting up six points.

Meanwhile, Oakridge played a tough match two weeks ago in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Dallas Christian, falling 74-18. The contest marked the Owls' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Oakridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Temple Christian, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-6.
