Baseball Recap: Dundalk Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dundalk can now relate to. They came up short against the Dulaney Lions on Saturday, falling 11-0. The Owls were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the five games prior), but the Lions' pitchers proved too tough.

Dundalk's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Dulaney, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Dundalk didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-5 defeat against Parkville on the 12th. Dulaney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
