Basketball Recap: Cranbrook Kingswood Takes a Loss

Cranbrook Kingswood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 52-41 to the Lutheran North Mustangs. The Cranes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 60-56.

Andrew Starrs was nothing short of spectacular for Lutheran North: he dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. What's more, Starrs also posted a 70% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ben Scheuher, who posted 17 points.

Cranbrook Kingswood's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Lutheran North, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Cranbrook Kingswood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 68-35 defeat against Richard on the 31st. As for Lutheran North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 72-46 loss against Divine Child on the 29th.
