Ridgecroft won the last time they faced Kerr-Vance Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rams were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Spartans. The matchup marked the Rams' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 25-16.

Klaire Cherry paced Ridgecroft's offense, picking up nine kills. Cherry got some help from Lacey Berryman and her 22 assists. Cherry also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mara White, racking up five apiece.

Ridgecroft's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Kerr-Vance Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ridgecroft is set to square off against their familiar foe Lawrence Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Kerr-Vance Academy will challenge rival Albemarle School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
