Soccer Recap: Ravenswood Takes a Loss

After flying high against Parkersburg Catholic on Tuesday, Ravenswood came back down to earth. The Red Devils fell just short of the Poca Dots by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Ravenswood's goal came courtesy of Austin Philbrook, which was the first he's scored this season.

Ravenswood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Poca, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Ravenswood and Poca will both be playing Webster County the next time they take the pitch. The Red Devils will head out to face the Highlanders at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Dots will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
