Basketball Recap: Centralia Comes Up Short

Centralia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 68-46 to the Southern Boone Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 56-52 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Centralia now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Southern Boone, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 4-6 record.

Centralia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-47 loss against Mexico on the 15th. As for Southern Boone, they will face off against Owensville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
