Softball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Barbers Hill Eagles, falling 17-0. If the Ganders were looking for revenge after losing 15-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Barbers Hill, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Looking ahead, Lee will square off against West Brook at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Brook has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.83 runs per game on average), something Lee will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Barbers Hill, they will be playing at home against Beaumont United at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
