Basketball Game Preview: Carrollton Trojans vs. Morrow Mustangs

Having just played yesterday, the Carrollton Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Morrow Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Carrollton will be strutting in after a win while Morrow will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Carrollton didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Union Grove, but they still walked away with a 61-56 victory. The win was all the more spectacular given the Trojans' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 400th, while the Wolverines are ranked 148th).

Meanwhile, Morrow suffered their biggest loss since January 27, 2024 on Saturday. They were outmatched by Ambassador Christian School and fell 75-31. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Morrow's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Carrollton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-14.

Carrollton didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Morrow in their previous meeting back in December of 2016, but they still walked away with a 59-55 win. Will Carrollton repeat their success, or does Morrow have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
