Baseball Recap: Boca Raton Comes Up Short

Boca Raton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the Jupiter Warriors. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2015.

Boca Raton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Brollini, who went 2-for-3 with one double. Those hits marked the first that Brollini got this season.

Boca Raton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Jupiter, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Boca Raton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-4 loss against St. John Paul II Academy on the 28th. As for Jupiter, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-7 victory against American Heritage on the 28th.
