Basketball Recap: Dublin Jerome's Win Ends 11-Game Losing Streak at Home

Dublin Jerome had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lincoln Lions on Monday, sneaking past 40-38. The win was all the more spectacular given the Celtics' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 585th, while the Lions are ranked 254th).

Dublin Jerome's victory ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-12. As for Lincoln, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

When Dublin Jerome and Lincoln next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Dublin Jerome will face off against Hilliard Darby and their eight-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Lincoln will try to stop New Albany's 12-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
