It was a good run, but Grayson Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Heritage Christian Academy Lions by a score of 35-33. Grayson Christian was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Heritage Christian Academy earlier this season, when they won 31-26.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addelynn Reid, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Reid has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 19 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Klock, who posted 13 points.

Grayson Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Heritage Christian Academy, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Grayson Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 34-30 victory against Joshua Christian on the 27th. Heritage Christian Academy has also already played their next matchup (against Cristo Rey Fort Worth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
