Eisenhower had lost four straight, but after bumping their record up to 8-9 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wenatchee Panthers, sneaking past 13-12. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cadets considering their one-run performance the contest before.
The team relied heavily on Zabella Hickenbottom, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Dylan Deveaux was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Eisenhower kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 7-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
