Softball Recap: Cossatot River Takes a Loss

Cossatot River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Waldron Bulldogs. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Cossatot River's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Waldron, they pushed their record up to 6-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Cossatot River has already played their next contest, a 13-2 defeat against Charleston on the 8th. As for Waldron, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Pottsville on the 8th.
