Volleyball Recap: Huntsville Find Success

Huntsville posted their closest victory since September 18th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Madison Academy Mustangs 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Huntsville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-22, 16-14.

Huntsville had a senior duo take command as Jenna McCauley had 16 digs and Lacey Hollis had 13 digs and three assists. Those 16 digs set a new season-high mark for McCauley.

Huntsville's victory bumped their record up to 34-8. As for Madison Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 24-13.

Huntsville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Muscle Shoals on the 11th. As for Madison Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Austin on the 11th.
