Baseball Recap: Cimarron's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

Cimarron was the 14-8 winner over Logan when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Longhorns on Friday. The loss was the Rams' first of the season.

Cimarron saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Gonzales, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Gonzales is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cimarron fell to 5-1. As for Logan, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Cimarron will venture away from home to face off against Raton at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Logan, they will welcome Santa Rosa at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
