California City extends road winning streak to four

The California City Ravens waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 54-41 victory over Kern Valley. That's another feather in the cap for California City, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

California City found their leader in underclassman Cassius 'Hollywood' Brown, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Brown pulled down eight or more rebounds. Ty'Ron 'Eraser' Jones was another key contributor, scoring two points along with 14 rebounds and five blocks.

California City's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7. As for Kern Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

California City will be playing at home against Boron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kern Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge Bishop Union at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
