Preview: Kennedy Knights vs. Passaic Valley Hornets
The Kennedy Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Passaic Valley Hornets at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Kennedy was handed a 27-point defeat in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Wayne Hills on Saturday. Kennedy came out on top in a nail-biter against Wayne Hills and snuck past 60-58. The win was just what Kennedy needed coming off of a 53-26 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Passaic Valley beat Lakeland Regional 52-48 on Friday.
Kennedy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Passaic Valley, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.
Everything came up roses for Kennedy against Passaic Valley when the teams last played back in February of 2022 as the team secured a 89-54 victory. Does Kennedy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Passaic Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
