Volleyball Recap: Emerald Comes Up Short

Emerald and Westside squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Emerald had to settle for second. They came up short against the Rams, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rams this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat on October 2nd.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-10, 25-19.

Savannah Dover paced Emerald's offense, picking up seven kills. Dover got some help from Emily Erskine and her ten assists.

Emerald's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Westside, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-10-1.

Emerald does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westside, they will square off against Daniel at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
