Basketball Recap: Rahway Takes a Loss

If Rahway was feeling good fresh off their 61-15 takedown of Hillside last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rahway Indians took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brearley Bears on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Bears: they've now lost three in a row.

Rahway's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Brearley, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Rahway will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Middletown South at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Brearley will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Metuchen at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
