Marcellus is a perfect 10-0 against Skaneateles since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Lakers at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Marcellus is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Altmar-Parish-Williamstown just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The match marked the first time this year in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Skaneateles unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 9-1 to Jordan-Elbridge.

Skaneateles' loss dropped their record down to 5-4. Marcellus' draw gives them a new season record of 5-2-1.

Everything went Marcellus' way against Skaneateles in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Marcellus made off with a 19-6 victory. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Lakers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
