Softball Recap: Plymouth North Drops Season-High Score on Hanover

Plymouth North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 11-8 to the Hanover Hawks. On the bright side, the eight- run effort marked the Eagles' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Sam Moschella led a balanced group of hitters, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Maggie Fabry was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

Plymouth North's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hanover, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Plymouth North will head out on the road to square off against Hingham at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hanover, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Plymouth South at 4:00 p.m.
