Softball Recap: Bloomington Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Bloomington Central Catholic was the 5-3 winner over Normal Community when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Saints fell just short of the Ironmen by a score of 4-3 on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bloomington Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Normal Community, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.
