Volleyball Recap: Phil Campbell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Phil Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Shoals Christian Flame. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Flame when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-21.

Avery Cummings paced Phil Campbell's offense, picking up nine kills. Cummings got some help from Aspen Misner and her 15 assists. Lily Stewart controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Phil Campbell's loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Phil Campbell will head out to face off against Haleyville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shoals Christian, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Colbert County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
