Basketball Recap: Crest Triumphs

Crest hadn't done well against Erie recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lancers came out on top against the Red Devils by a score of 55-44. That's more bragging rights for the Lancers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Quincy Brown, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 14 points and six boards. Brown is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Parker Hughes was another key player, putting up nine points.

The win got Crest back to even at 1-1. As for Erie, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
