Lowell hadn't done well against Munster recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Red Devils walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mustangs. This was a revenge game for the Red Devils: when they faced off against the Mustangs on September 4th, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 20-25, 25-17, 25-21.

Lowell's offense was headlined by Emily Aguilar and Preslee Hill, who picked up 13 kills apiece. They got some help from Dafne Aguilar-Martinez and her 18 assists. Aubrey Fleming controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lowell is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. As for Munster, they dropped their record down to 4-22-1 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lowell is set to face off against their familiar foe Kankakee Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Munster will take on rival Andrean at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
