Soccer Recap: Weatherford Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mansfield Legacy, Weatherford was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the North Crowley Panthers get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The game was the first time the Kangaroos have beaten the Panthers on their pitch since January 7, 2020.

Weatherford's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11. As for North Crowley, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.

Weatherford's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 17 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
