Softball Game Preview: Leland & Gray Rebels vs. Windsor Yellowjackets

Leland & Gray is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Wednesday. They will look to defend their home field against the Windsor Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. Leland & Gray will be strutting in after a victory while Windsor will be coming in after a loss.

Leland & Gray not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 1, 2024. They blew past Long Trail 10-4.

Meanwhile, Windsor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Springfield, falling 17-5.

Windsor saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cassie Clark, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Clark is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.
