Basketball Recap: Harrison Takes a Loss

Harrison was the 60-52 winner over Taylor when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Harrison Wildcats took a hard 59-42 fall against the Taylor Yellowjackets on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 565th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 134th).

This is the second loss in a row for Harrison and nudges their season record down to 3-8. As for Taylor, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harrison will host Northwest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Taylor, they will face off against Deer Park at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
