Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Dover walked away with it. They blew past the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs 13-2 on Saturday. Considering the Crimson Tornadoes have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the tenth in a row for Dover, bringing their record up to 26-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Bloom-Carroll, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 26-4.

Coming up, Dover will take on Western Brown at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Broncos' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Crimson Tornadoes' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Bloom-Carroll does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
