Oakwood's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They beat the Butler Aviators by a goal, winning 1-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Oakwood's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Butler are ranked 108th).

Oakwood's one-goal win came courtesy of Gabi Noh, who's now up to two this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Oakwood and bumps their season record up to 12-1-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Butler, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1.

Oakwood has already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Madison on the 30th. As for Butler, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Centerville on the 29th.
