Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakota East). They blew past the Sycamore Aviators 15-1 on Thursday. The Thunderhawks have beaten the Aviators the last nine times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Aviators has come to flipping the script.

The win got Lakota East back to even at 5-5. As for Sycamore, they dropped their record down to 5-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Lakota East didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-2 loss against Badin on the 19th. Hopefully Sycamore paid attention to the Thunderhawks' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Thunderhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
