Volleyball Recap: Vista Ridge Takes a Loss

Vista Ridge was the 3-2 winner over Pueblo East when they last played one another back in March of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Saturday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11.

Vista Ridge's offense was headlined by Shila Ansell and Aleyna Tavale, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Kiary Tapia Martinez and her eight assists.

Vista Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Pueblo East, they pushed their record up to 16-7 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

As of now, neither Vista Ridge nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
