Basketball Recap: Silver Stage Takes a Loss

Silver Stage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 56-38 to the Yerington Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-41 back in January.

Silver Stage now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Yerington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silver Stage will welcome enCompass Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Yerington, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against North Tahoe at 7:30 p.m. The Lions will be up against the Lakers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.42 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
